Yesterday afternoon, the Sun quietly padded into Leo.
Now, I don’t believe astrology predicts my future, but I do think it’s enormous fun.
It’s a little like checking the weather, except instead of “Chance of showers,” it’s “Jupiter seems optimistic today,” and instead of reaching for an umbrella, you reach for another cup of coffee.
I’m a Leo myself, so for the next few weeks I shall naturally assume that the Universe has arranged a few extra sunbeams in my honour.
The cat, however, insists they were meant for him.
Leo season has always felt cheerful to me. It’s full of sunflowers, warm evenings, long conversations, and the kind of light that makes even ordinary days seem just a little more golden.
Whether the stars influence us or not, I rather like having little seasonal traditions. They remind us to notice the passing of time, to smile at old stories, and to enjoy life without taking every mystery too seriously.
So here’s to Leo season.
May your coffee stay hot, your Wi-Fi stay connected, your sense of humour remain intact, and if Jupiter decides to sprinkle a little extra luck around on the 29th…
…well, I certainly won’t object.
